All is well in fair Eggland, that is until the magical ‘Lord of Misrule’ aka the Mule appears. He has been banished from the land of the Gods, and is cursed never to return unless he performs helpful magic.
King Hard-Boiled, Queen Omelette and Princess Souffle are attending the Annual Egg Fair when the Mule appears and causes mayhem. He turns the bright, sunny day into winter, and Humpty Dumpty’s shell is broken.
Amid the despair two decrepit looking Fairy Godmothers appear. They try to repair Humpty, – but to no avail. The King instructs his two useless servants, Flip and Nog to mend Humpty, but again no success.
At breakfast the next morning there is much confusion as the King decides what he want for breakfast. Also the Princess's coming of age Ball is discussed.
Scene 4 shows the useless servants decorating the castle ready for the Ball. Chaos ensues as everything goes wrong
In act 2 we have the talent competition to decide who will provide the entertainment at the ball - the 'Eggs Factor'!
Fairy Nuff decides that it will require a combination of magic powers to put Humpty back together - success!
Mule and the Princess fall in love, and the final scene shows them asking the King for permission to marry at the grand Masked Ball.
