About David Valentine……

I come from a family where Drama played an important part of my Childhood

My father, John Valentine, wrote many Pantomimes for the Birstall Methodist Church men’s Pantomime group. These were always a major annual highlight of the Village, and the group raised thousands of pounds for the Church and other charities such as LOROS. I remember with great fondness appearing in many of these.

I have performed with many Drama and Musical groups in the East Midlands. With the Leicester Amateur Operatic Society I have appeared in ‘Carousel’, and ‘A Song of Norway’. I have Directed and acted in many school productions, including ‘Oliver’, ‘Smike’, ‘Oklahoma’, and most recently I have acted, Directed and written plays and Pantomimes for the East Bridgford Drama group, in Nottinghamshire.
